At NJYG, we have one simple purpose: help every person, regardless of their background of any kind, to achieve his/ her fullest potential. There are three major elements that can keep a child from reaching his/her full potential. These elements are common regardless of the location or culture. They are lack of knowledge, lack of health, and lack of food.

Programs in India

New Jesus Young group's programs focus enhancing literacy, health, and micro-farming in India. From the beginning days through its entire time, New Jesus Young Group has always been an organization that reached to the entire community, never to allow anything such as religion, location, or culture to stand on the way of reaching a fellow human being at the time of his/her need. Today, NJYG's main focus is establishing sustainable developments by enhancing literacy, health, and micro farming in India.

Since the social system does not allow child laborers and illiterate adults to get education, NJYG was determined to provide people education in their own communities.

People who have learned about the impact of the Community Education Center program now invite NJYG to their villages, so that they too can adopt the methods to enhance literacy, health, and agriculture. In the end, it will be a beautiful picture where people are no longer deprived of their right to live with dignity. Sufficient amount of food will be available for the world food markets because micro farmers will be utilizing their maximum capacity.

Though it may sound ambitious, we believe God wants each person to reach their full potential, and so helping to make it happen makes sense. However, such a picture will not be complete, without you.

Child Sponsorship Program

The Child Sponsorship Program teaches children vocational skills to help them find sustainable income and a way out of poverty. Child sponsorship is a proven success: - and a better life as a result

Development through sponsorship

Child sponsorship leads to a lifetime of learning. It's a powerful approach to Christian child development, providing children with a broader view of the world and educating sponsors about the political and economic realities sponsored children face. This relationship provides both children and sponsors with a concrete example of how God works around the world.

Learning for Life focuses on a child's life from school age until program completion, aiming to prepare each sponsored child with the skills and knowledge required to assume adulthood, including those activities that will make the community a better place to live. We focus on preparing children to:

• Follow Jesus Christ in faith and deed as part of their spiritual training
• Support themselves and share with others in need as part of their economic training
• Be responsible members of their family, church, community and nation as part of their social training
• Maintain their own physical well-being

The knowledge and skills gained through these various activities contribute to the quality of life children experience throughout their whole lives. It all starts with one person taking the time to sponsor one child.
